Fatcat Rush review (iPod/iPhone)
September 1, 2011♫ “Big cats, small cats, some cats are fat cats
Those cats are bad cats, what we gonna do?”
10 word description: One game, one cat, one rule: Eat till you drop. (Taken directly from the app store description).

3...2...1... Go! And he's off, waddling on his stumpy legs towards the nearest cake. I work with people like that
10 word review: Obese cats rule; this 2.5D runner/jumper is fun too.

Lots of information. In reality, if it's sparkly you want it. If it's a bit big, you want to dash at it to break it
You will like this if you enjoy: Endless runners; cute pseudo-3D looking games; watching overfed cats bumping into solid objects and falling over.

You're running around the outside of a big tower. You generally want to be moving upwards while eating everything in your path
The good news: Pretty graphics, controls work well, polished interface, in-game achievements, visual variety between levels, quite easy.
The bad news: Possibly too easy. A bit short. Cat occasionally glitches into the environment after a collision. Kind of irrelevant, but the app icon is quite ugly.
Arcadelife verdict: Overall, it’s an enjoyable game. Graphically it’s polished and good looking, and there’s plenty of variety in the backgrounds as you progress through the levels. The cat character could do with looking a bit more like a cat – Bulba (Bulba the Cat) had the whole obese feline look spot-on. This one is a bit too square and not really looking much like a cat. Also, developers need to drop the “apathy achievements” where you get one for displaying the credits or looking at the help screen. It may have been ironically amusing the first time but it’s starting to become some kind of standard for iOS games now, which is rather uninspiring. Just stop it, please.
